Cheryl Lynn

{D}Her eyes are clear, {G}bright like the {D}sky,

{G}Brown like the {A7}earth in my {D}soul.

Her hands are clean.  {G}Cool is her {D}touch,

{G}Wondrous and {A7}fleeting and {D}whole.

Like the {G}rain in the {A7}spring and the {Bm}warm summer sun

And the {G}snow softly {A7}floating out{D}side,

She {G}hands me green {A7}leaves and no {Bm}fear of the gold

And {G}shows me I’ve {A7}no need to {D}hide.

Her heart is true blue as she {G}carries me {D}through

{G}All of my {A7}wandering and {D}sin.

Will I ever find in her {G}love peace of {D}mind?

Will I {G}ever come {A7}home, Cheryl {D}Lynn?

{Repeat second stanza.}

Her eyes are clear, {G}bright like the {D}sky,

{G}Wondrous and {A7}shining and {D}whole,

As {G}I roam this {A7}earth, no di{Bm}rection since birth,

Cheryl {G}Lynn keeps the {A7}dream in my {D}soul.

{Repeat second stanza, then last verse of last stanza, then last verse of second stanza.}
